Hello,

When i try to enter “madvr switch to matching display mode” resolutions, -like 1080p23- after exit KodiDS the resolution doesnt switch back to my desktop resolution (1080p60) i needed to switch it back manually from windows settings.

Thanks!
Answered this same question elsewhere yesterday.

Put this in madVR:
2160p23, 2160p24, 2160p25, 2160p59, 2160p60

Change everything 2160 to 1080 if your display is only 1080p.
I can't believe this player is still being used since the time i created so many years ago. Im happy i didn't waste all this time to create this really really big project. Well this one and the lavfilters which is now maintened by nevcairel. Thanks aracnoz to keep it alive.
hey guys ,i get someproblems , i have a nvidia card ,it can  4-way output and show something ,so  the problem is :
1.how can i use the all of them to let the kodi make sound (Does kodi have anything can set up)?
2.if i only can use one line to make sound, how can i set the one of  the 4 lines as the default output?
that's all.

Hey Tiben20 - long time no see.

Yep, IMHO, the best home cinema set up on the planet.

Thanks, but after this i got “No signal” after hit stop button in Kodi. Cant provide log, because its stop logging after “LoadChapters”

You could try this: in MadVR settings at Display Modes tag the top two options (switch and restore) and set both to "...when media player goes/ leaves fullscreen". That fixed some display switching issues for me at least.

this player is totally essential for people like me with large collections which include MVC 3D movies, there is nowhere else to go in my opinion if you want to be able to play MVC 3D and HDR straight out of your player and use MADVR. However since the fall creators update things have got really messed up, i'm having a really hard time getting KODI DS / MPC-BE stable with MADVR, hoping newer versions are going to sort things out.

try changing your KODI DS GUI to 1080P instead of 2160p and put windowed on, its for more stable I find, I also have issues with black screen on stop but it affects MPC as well so its mainly a MADVR issue I think.

hi, common problem, this has been buggy like this for as long as i can remember,  it goes worse when you go 4K plus there are other issues too, I have a huge TV so I had to go 4k really part of me regrets the stability I used to get with just a 1080p system.  Your best bet is workarounds I use SETRES command to change it back and I have it mapped to a key on my remote.

Hi, reclock seems to be the only audio renderer which can deal with fall creators update right now, everything else i've tried is broken with frame drops every 40 seconds. I have the same issue with 3D MVC which I cant solve either but that doesnt use GPO hardware decoding, must be something going on audio and hardare decoding with windows 10, cant be a coincidence that every media player I use, every driver combination, every version of DS/MADVR/LAV gives me 40 seconds drops until I use reclock which solves it. Why dont you scrap Sanear and bake in reclock?.

I don't think any of this is the 'Global' issue that it sounds like.  Not sure about the Kodi DS build a factor in all these complaints since it's so similar to official build with a linked player?  I know with the official build I can run the GUI at 2160p with 'Use Fullscreen' activated.  Without, not only does the GUI look terrible, launching an external player correctly is impossible (which may not apply to Kodi DS?).  There is no black screen and MPC and madVR are not contributing any faults nor is W10 or the FCU everything is working around.  There are no faults.  Yes there are some inconsistencies but not what you guys report here or the drastic changes you suggest to adopt.  I can only think you guys might be going backwards with your settings and that creates more problems when the actual culprit(s) might be the GPU's and/or the driver versions and/or the settings for them.  All this is true for NVidia, however AMD and Intel might indeed be a different story and these 'fixes' you are suggesting may very well be the only course of action for you to turn.  In the mean time, I think it might help if you compared what devices and or GPU's (assuming that is the culprit) are faulting compared to those that are not to at least figure out who the problem(s) belong to in order to help you sort them out.  Then by comparison, you could narrow it down to a specific driver version (for example) which happens to be the soul cause of Nvidia inconsistencies and how to properly cure it.  Some of you have specs in your sigs.  For those who don't, simply state the problem or fix and what you are using each post if it's relevant.  You can compare notes and before you know it, you can put your finger on what to really go after.  I just have a gut feeling it's not Kodi or (DS) or madVR or W10 or the FCU or MPC because similar things are working 100% using all of this combination.

I just updated to the latest DS and I can now run my GUI at 4k again, no black screens. Have you up to date with in updates, there was an update to DIRECTX which may also help.

You did a great thing with DSPlayer, tiben20. Too bad it did not get enough consideration in the overall scheme of things, at least not so far. But it's still my daily preference. Smile
