Full Version: switched to 1080 tv and now it crashes when i try to load

So I am running kodibuntu and previously had it on a 720 tv, I switched tvs and now it hangs every time it finishes booting and attempts load the gui. If i let it boot up without the tv plugged in it loads completely but once I plug in the tv it crashes.

Remove your addon repositories. (mv ~/.kodi ~/kodi-bak)

Thank you for responding, i did as you instructed.

unforunately it still crashed immediately when after the kodi load screen. I have updated the new logs below

A10 is nice beast, can you upgrade the kernel to linux-image-generic-lts-utopic for a test?

deep down in mesa. Make a backup and try:

sudo apt-get install mesa-vdpau-drivers-lts-utopic libgl1-mesa-dri-lts-utopic

(I hope that will install a bunch of other mesa packages)
Tried the package installs it seemed to break it completely, going to revert and try upgrading the kernel

Please try OpenELEC 5.0.8 from usb stick - slowly it does not get rational anymore.
I reinstalled and upgraded the kernel and now everything seems to be functioning fine. Thank you so much for all your assistance!!!!
