Guys my first login so please be gentle. Just trying to get to grips with free streaming via xmbc and having problems. The message on screen is playback failed and I think my error is

xbmc storage/emulated/0/android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log

Help please

My recommendation would be to upgrade to Kodi Helix v14.2 using the official Kodi.tv website.

It is quite possible the problem you are experiencing is because you appear to be using a very old version.
