Full Version: 14.2 Beta on Nexus 5, SMB source does not remember credentials

I have a Synology NAS that I have set up pretty basically to share root folders via SMB. I can't simply select SMB source and then navigate to my NAS, because permission is denied right away. I am able to add SMB sources manually and enter my credentials and can play back video fine. When I restart Kodi, every file in my library won't play and is prompted to be removed.

I've tried to edit the source so that they are smb://user:[email protected]/folder, but my info is not kept.

I'm aware this is beta, but am I alone on this one or are others having trouble too?
I read in another thread to simply enable the Guest account on my Synology, this is a working solution FYI
