It seems that the fixes put into Kodi 14 to make video playback on this Amlogic device play in fullscreen rather than in widowed mode have not been transfered to 15 Alpha 2.

14.2 plays perfectly. 15 alpha 2 plays in windowed mode unless hardware decoding using amcodec is disabled. Exactly as 14 was until it was fixed if I remember correctly.

15.Alpha 2 is otherwise excellent in my experience but I won't be using it on this device (or my ATV1200) until I know this is fixed.

Can you get us a debug log (wiki) of when you use a v15 version? Be sure to use a nightly build (wiki), which will say beta 1, as those builds will lead up to the first beta release.

Please try a nightly. If it is what I think, it should be solved there.

Thanks Koying and Ned. I've just loaded the nightly from 14/4 and I have fullscreen playback.
