Ok so feel free to ignore this as I am using a non standard setup with patched vaapi (field rate madi) drivers + git mesa/ddx/kernel.
Just in case this does look like a kodi issue to you I'll post anyway :-)
Looping a couple of short samples while trying to lock kernel I sometimes segfault. kodi was a couple of weeks old when I first noticed - logs from yesterdays git.
Sometimes it can run for hours and I've only just started using this specific test so I can't call regression since xxxx.
Debug log is 50k lines so I uploaded first and last 1000 + gdb.
