I know this is a stupid question, but do I have to have the HD AV pack to get XBMC to fill the screen of my TV without using the auto-fill function on my TV. Also where can I get the HD AV pack, I can't find any sites that sell it anymore.

No, you don't need the HD pack to get widescreen support.

Just enable widescreen in the MS Dash.
