so i just set up an sftp server on my android box and used the client filezilla on my laptop to connect to it using my publib IP and it worked fine. however, when i try to add the network location on kodi from the laptop it can't find it. port forwarding has been set up.

please help!!!

How did you try to add it?

should be sftp://<username>:<password>@<ip>/folder
