Sorry guys - new to this!

Running Kodi on a Minix Neo Z64 Android. When watching a movie, or indeed any video, if I have to pause it or change volume etc. using a remote control, when I resume the video I cannot get rid of the movie information at the bottom of the screen - however patient I am!

I am sure the answer is simple, but I haven't cracked it yet. Huh

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Joey
It should disappear when you press play/pause on your remote.

Try the button mapped to escape or backspace.
Thanks Nickr.

Well, it doesn't disappear when pressing play/pause - I have tried that!

Will try the escape or backspace when I get access to Kodi again.

If I could find the thank user button, I would press it Blush
Nicky,

Escape worked - thanks... Knew it would be something simple!
How are you pausing? Using pause button on a remote, or using ok then the osd pause icon?
Using ok, then the the odd pause icon.

Backspace or escape seems to work ok thanks.

I've got Kodi set up on my laptop with Windows 8.1 as well and all I have to do is move the cursor off the screen and the movie info disappears - that's probably what confused me!

As the whole system is new to me I didn't want to just press buttons hoping they would work and end up with more problems!

It's a learning curve and I thank you for taking the time to help ...
Use the pause button on your remote to pause. Then use the pause button on your remote to unpause.
