Hey Guys! New to the kodi community

I recently bought an android cs918 already pre loaded with kodi and I wanted to know if it was possible to turn on the Android and boot directly to Kodi. I would love to make it easier for myself especially for my parents to use this without having to go through the regular start-up.

Any help help or links to tips would be highly appreciate. Thanks Smile

Thanks k4sh1n, what are the pros and cons of doing this?
If you use the box purely for KODI then pro, if you wanted to use it for something besides KODI, I'd say con as then you would have to close KODI then open the app you were after.

Test and see if it fits your usecase, as its an app you can remove it it not performing to your requirements.

What do you mean? You can open other apps from within Kodi.
For example, on AFTV, I open netflix from within Kodi, so I never leave it...
I see, "Koying' are you referring to Advanced Launcher addon? (Honestly, it slipped my mind, so I stand corrected) Maybe I don't see a con, on this?
Err, no. "Programs-Android Apps"
Ah, right did some quick wiki fu (my android know-how is lacking), seems there is an alternative app you can use:

Quote: 1.12 Launching Android apps from within Kodi

Link

Kodi can launch other Android apps by going to "Programs" (on the home screen) and selecting the app you want to run.

1.13 Automatically start Kodi

Link

You can automatically start Kodi when your Android device boots up using an application such as Startup Manager (free)
