Non riesco ad aprire e modificare i file nella cartella kodi skin carpc.
Sembrano protetti. Voi come avete fatto?
No english? They aren't protected. You need to know what your doing before making changes. Using Notepad ++ to edit .xml and Kodi xbt extractor to extract the texture files to edit the skin images using an editor like photoshop.

Idk what links you want posted that aren't already. You just gotta search through the pages. A few pages back actually has the most updated skin.
loved this skin in raspberry pi, and am loving it in my tab. just awesome. thanks idorel77 for creating the skin and supporting (along with the other skinners) it in android Big Grin

there's a feature that I've been looking out for, but then nobody's requesting for it. if it's not too much of an effort, cdart (cd cover and spinning disc) similar to the transparency! skin would be nice in addition to the spectrum analyzer in full screen music playback :-)

a howto or instructions how to do it would be great too.

I centered the buttons with the middle of the screen and shortened the bottom bar to make it the same size as the top bar. Also changed the buttons and sizes.

You can see here they weren't center from the home button.

I was hoping for a red carbon kevlar background but cannot find anything high enough resolution. So I'll just take a very high dpi image when I get my kevlar for the plastic dash panels.
heres my new icons

next to change text to alluminum or some kind of 3d metal
Also would you no where the navigation icon xml is
navigation icon you can change from includes.xml
There are 2 button for navigation, check if you modify the right one.
Hoping someone can help me out. I was using this skin with the OpenElec Kodi distro on my RPi2 with the RPi touch lcd, and all was working perfectly. Touch a menu function once, and the item comes up, nice, simple.

I decided to move to Raspbian as it is more flexible, and loaded Kodi along with the skin. Now however I need to press multiple times in order for a selection to register. I've looked everywhere and cannot find an answer to this, so i'm hoping someone out there has the knowledge i'm missing!

Thanks in advance.
Mike

could someone give me a hand with this?
Thanks VARS
you use android or raspbian ?

here is 3 different skins : https://github.com/idorel77

If you installed skin for android and you use raspbian will not work.
Skin for android open maps and waze , but you have to select from settings what you want to use. or for custom you need to modify home.xml and includes.xml
thanks maps icon is there now

Thanks idorel77.

I had a look at the forum but am confused. People talk about a file called 'touchscreen_axis_calib' that should be in the /home/pi folder, however i have no such file! Is there a special program i need to run to generate this file?

Cheers,
Mike
