I'm runing kodi on a macbook pro, I installed ccm helix skin, that enabled TV on my kodi install, but it gave me an error saying I had not enabled any PVR addons, the problem is that I quit kodi and when I tried to open it back up it comes up with a PVR error and it freezes I can't see the menu or move anything. I have a screenshot but don't know how to upload it here.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Ok after a few hours trying to find out what was the problem, I had to install Kodi in another computer and compare files to determine which one had changed and restore it. In the guisettings.xml the original lines are:
<backendchannelorder default="true">true</backendchannelorder>
<enabled default="true">false</enabled>
<hideconnectionlostwarning default="true">false</hideconnectionlostwarning>
only the middle line changed to:
<backendchannelorder default="true">true</backendchannelorder>
<enabled>enable</enabled>
<hideconnectionlostwarning default="true">false</hideconnectionlostwarning>
by enabling it you basically enable the live tv option and disabling well does the oposite, after changing this kodi opened up normally
