I would also appreciated if we can make the sorted name optional.
Can we please have two additional options under movies. One to not fill in the SortedName Field. Two, have it populate TheMovieDb Collection Id. Thanks.
Like so:
<collectionnumber xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">1006</collectionnumber>
sorry for the late response..
I've already written down my thoughts but it looks like I did not post it Big Grin

a) for collections (movie sets) the sorted name is needed. That has been built up like Kodi works with collections:
the <set> tag is used to give it a set title
the <sorttitle> tag is used to preserve an order of the movies inside the tag.
When we suppress writing of the <sorttitle> tag, we would lose the ability to re-import NFOs into tmm (and the movies will not the displayed in the "right" order inside Kodi)

b) why would you need the tag <colletionnumber>?
