Hi, I am new to this forum and need some advice. I'm trying to use XBMC Gotham and keep getting the message "no pvr client" I've followed a number of guides found on google but there is no PVR manager that allows me to choose a client. Having been on the Kodi download site there seems to be some 'code' to manually add a client and although I can ftp files etc using iDreamx on my Mac or DCC via Ms I am clueless as to how to get the code to the box?? Please help me before I throw the box through the window
Ali
had you any success getting a pvr client installed? im a newbie to and really stuck on this!
I think you are missing some build dependencies
Please do not cross-post your question in moe than one place! The answer will be same as here http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=251451

First of all if you are running XBMC directly on an Vu+ box then just forget about it as there is no support for that here, but you could try to ask over at VuPlus community http://www.vuplus-community.net At least as far as I there is as of yet no official support from here on kodi.tv for running Kodi nativly on an Enigma2 based set-top box.

To get support here on kodi.tv you need to run Kodi on a computer or on an Android box or an iOS device. And then what is supported here is to run Kodi as a frontend/client on a supported computer/device and network stream from an Enigma2 based set-top box working as a backend/server using the respective PVR client addon; please read wiki http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR and http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR_backend

Secondly, Kodi v16 (Jarvis) is almost out so why are you using XBMC v13 (Gotham). You really need to be using at least Kodi v15 (Isengard) to get any support at all here at the kodi.tv community forum.
