I can get DTS and DD 5.1 working just fine in XBMC, but every time I turn on the xbox I have to click on the checkboxes for both AC3 and DTS playback. It remembers that I have digital audio but those two settings get reset every time I turn the xbox back on. I searched throught forums and can't seem to find this elsewhere.
Ok, it seems to overwrite the avpacksettings.xml file when XBMC is launched. Am I missing a setting to stop it from doing that?
Shouldn't have anything to do with it.
The settings are saved straight into your EEPROM. Do you have some sort of shadow EEPROM in use at all (from a softmod maybe?)

Yes, I used a softmod to mod my box. I think it's called 'SHADOWC'. Sorry, I'm not too sure where to look for any exact info if you need it so you'll have to walk me through.
