my google-fu must be failing, i can't see a simple answer, tweak or app for this. tried using Xposed statusbarvolume but that makes things even uglier 'cos then you get a statusbar popup too.

i have a skin with its own vol indicator popup (re-touched).

any way to hid the system vol hud? in Kodi or systemwide, preferably just in Kodi please.

i think hiding it in the skin is probably the easier way to go, although really skins should be able to do their own volume controls (which could be touch-able) and Android should allow the system indicator to be hidden! (it doesn't, right?).
