The first is the call letters

Example WJBK which is the call sign for the channel
Channel is a fox channel they go by - Fox 2
Should they go in without the number?
So " WJBK - FOX"?
No, there should be no call signs. only the channel name.

So in that example "Fox 2" is the channel name I believe.
I just redid them ... kinda hard without the call sign ( on some ) but hope it's better.
Added them all.

I can never quite understand US channels. "Fox 66" wtf Smile

Hope you can now upload all the logos.
Lol ... thanks I'll start working on them ASAP and uploading them

Tried a quick one from work .. while I am definitely no wiz when it comes to image editing ... the free online apps blow lol. I'll wait till I'm home and re up a good one.
Great work on the website, finally a site where there's clean channel logos. Is there a way to download the entire logo packs for, say, Sky UK without having to manually download each and every channel logo one-by-one?

Thanks
The Kodi Add-on will auto download them for you.

Zag,

I wish I found this site before pulling my hair out trying to make custom logos for my channels, looks really promising. I was going to go through the source and editing some logos and then upload them to help out if I can. I had a couple questions/suggestions before I got going to deep.

1. I was wondering if the 1st post (or maybe homepage on the site) could be updated so anyone wanting to help had the size/format/color etc.. without having to read through the whole thread? Similar to what fanart.tv has in the top menu for artwork sizes.
2. Is there a way of knowing what logos from the source have already been uploaded other than checking each one?
3. I was looking for just plain Fox, ABC, NBC, etc... logos not city/region specific is there any way to add a general link under terrestrial for just network logos? Not sure if that is planned I understand this is still in the early stages. I also realize most if not all of those are available on the web but it might be nice to include them here.

I think this is an overlooked feature, as there are a lot of logos I'd like to add to my system but there really isn't a central location or standard for these logos.
Awesome work, I look forward to seeing where this will go in the future. I'll start working on some logos and upload them as soon as I can.

Thanks for all your work on this,
Scott.
Thanks for mirroring all my logos TheLogoDB.com

1) Updated the 1st post with dimensions and image type guidelines.

2) The source folder is just there to help anyone when creating images, many may already be uploaded. I just found them from random sources and thought it was a good idea to store them somewhere if needed.

3) Not at the moment, but you can use the search to just type in Fox. There should be a generic logo for all channels somewhere on the site.

Example: http://www.thelogodb.com/browse.php?s=fox
I just learned today that this project exists....
Thanks for the info, I've been following your github project.

Totally agree on the SVG stuff, I've been creating vectors myself with Inkscape. What I will try to do is copy them all to the source folder for now.

Its hard to get people to upload those though, and may need to be a secondary thing.

Still looking for a nice ID to use for the logos. Any ideas on that one?
Sorry in advance if this is already answered elsewhere in the thread. I would like to upload icons for all the Australian channels, and have a few q's.

1. I have found that the names of the channels are not all correct. For example, there are a bunch of channels in the 'Australia ' section which do not exist in the database, and there are others which are national channels that are split into different regions which do not need to be as they all use the same logo. How do I edit the channel database on the website to be more accurate?
2. Are we now preferring svg's of the same dimensions as the first post, or png's only?
3. Do we want transparent backgrounds for the icons?
4. What is the copyright situation? Can we upload logos from other websites?

I would also recommend putting this info on the website in the same place as where you upload from. This would help to codify a standard, so people don't have to trawl through the forums.
It would be also neat that at some point in the future we can have a bit more robust method of resizing the images. Some method similar to preview that would accept a resizing percentage and resize the image based on that percentage. Something like:

Code:

http://www.thelogodb.com/images/media/logo/tpwytv1454210897.png/90
