Just use windows to show the thumbnail and rename as appropriate.
When you say "deliberately" it means you don't want to be used? because I don't see other reasons...
And about the rename they are so many it will take a life to rename all of them...
I'm running some tools in the images to check if we can save some size. i'll post the results later.

EDIT:

MEDIUM

Thanks, I will optimize the PNG compression soon.

I have been working behind the scenes to make things better. But still getting 15 million requests a day on the disabled API which is totally unsustainable. 95% are from IPTV servers or apple iptv apps.

Saying that... I have re-enabled all Kodi related API keys!

P.S. This site is still working... Try using search Wink

You have a library of data that:

a) changes infrequently
b) is repeatedly accessed by large numbers of people on a daily basis

That is precisely the kind of problem which p2p / distributed file systems are good at solving. For example:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZeroNet
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/InterPlane...ile_System

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitChute
Hi Zag, I'm new in the forum.
Can I have api key? please
I would test and maybe contribute Big Grin
Sorry site is closed to new signups at the moment due to IPTV provider abuse.
TheLogoDB will be closing its doors in the next few weeks.

We still get 10s of millions of hits even when we changed the API keys and site URL'S.

All logos will be archived to GitHub, I will provide a link when its ready. I will try to get them named properly or at least have an index file.

Thanks for those who donated.. all 3 of you during the lifetime of the site Smile

All other sites will remain open and working and I will concentrate my efforts on those.
Sad to hear. I think another approach is needed to share pvr logos. I personally stopped to contribute to the site when some of my high quality (many of them were vectorized before generating the png file) logos got replaced by some no-brain. Maybe in the future we can have some sort of resource addon for PVR logos.
Thanks a lot for your work on the site during the past few years. Sad to see it go motived by the same guys who ruin every single nice project.

Regards zag
Oh, that is a shame Sad

Do you know where are all these hits coming from?

Time to update the TV Logo Artwork wiki page...
Yep I literally have a list of some of the biggest IPTV providers on the net from the logs Wink Seems it must have been added to their backend system somewhere.

The github link should be enough for anyone looking for single logos. I'll let everyone know when done.
Maybe a use a google drive folder?  Users can download entire folder as a zip, or reference specific links to specific items.  An item within google drive can be "replaced" or "updated" while retaining the public referencing URL path.

Alternatively a torrent?  Though not updatable.  But a torrent of a collection, updated once per month or every few months, would work wonderfully, say "TVLogoDB-20181130" (YYYYMMDD, for easy sorting), then your upload would only be whatever you set your client maximum to be (set in "initial seeding mode").

I wonder how some place like github would do for hosting a collection of logos, publicly editable.

Lastly, you could pitch to all the hosted companies to provide a donation, or provide "thumbnails" for each broadcasting company, and ask each for a $2-10/mo maintenance fee to host publicly available ad-free high quality images they provide.  Write a single letter, include links to presently available site and a paypal link, batch parse each company name and address from a spreadsheet into it, send as emails and presto Smile

I can try hosting the zip file for a while in my Google drive if you send or link it?  (and permissibly attempt to upload by torrent?)  If I'm able to I'll send back a link on here, maybe you can post the link on logodb site.  idk, just spitballing here.
Whoops, I need to learn to read entire threads before posting, lol,

Thanks for the github upload!! Smile
As of 2018 11 10 the github zip is 225MB, in case anyone would like to know, perhaps add to the 'readme.md'?
