The current problem I've been battling with is figuring out why I cannot get my box to work with hardware acceleration correctly.
Current running the q8 tv Box. Rk3288, Mali-T7, 2 gb Ddr3, 8gb Rom.
So I'll be watching a movie on kodi or xbmc, I've tried multiple versions, as soon as I jump to a part, or fast forward, kodi will close. It's must worse with both libstagefreight, and mediacodec, but if I disable media, it's better but still happens. Now the only way everything runs smooth, is if I switch to software accelerated. Everything works flawlessly. No crashes ever, fast forward is smooth, picture is smooth, weather it be 1080 or a standard movie.
I don't know if it necessarily a problem, but seems pointless to have an android box with the hardware acceleration off.
