Sorry if this has been addressed before but I am having an issue whereby, for example, a TV show called Forever is not getting picked up during the Library refresh even though it does exist in IMDB. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3487382/

• My folder structure is exactly the same as all other TV shows, so it’s not that.
• The naming convention of the file is also as per the recommendation. (I have even renamed with File Bot, which successfully connected to IMDB and renamed the shows successfully, (which makes it even more confusing as I know IMDB is picking it up in filebot and renaming successfully)


I have tried to manually refresh the folder and select the option that comes up, but for some reason the option to select Forever (Year Made 2014) is not an option to select. And yet it is on the IMDB site!

Now interestingly enough, the above show did get picked up when I was using Gotham, but not in the latest stable release of Kodi.

This also happens with the TV show Empire.

I don’t understand why it is not getting picked up either automatically during a refresh, or when I try to manually refresh, and select the options that the Scraper supplies, or try to manually search the name of the show with Forever 2014 for example.

Not sure that this is the correct sub-forum for your request - if not, I'm sure a moderator will soon fix that.

The correct folder names for those TV shows should be:
Forever (2014)
Empire (2015)

As you can imagine, there are several TV shows with those titles!

Edit: You should also be using the TVDB scraper to avoid such problems.

when i type empire (2015) the show doesn't even appear as a choice to select. everything i have tried is below

empire - brings every show with empire in the name including the one i want. when i select it and add to library, it adds some show from 1960 called empire.
empire 2015 - a show called tut and some other show appear
empire (2015) - a show called tut and some other show appear
empire 2014 - no results (obviously)

any help will be appreciated
