Why is there timezone redundancy? If someone sets the timezone on their system why do they also need to set it in Kodi? Shouldn't the timezones be equivalent where Kodi pulls the timezone from the system and if someone changes the timezone in Kodi it is changed on the system? What is reasoning for allowing two different timezones on the same system?
I can understand 12 or 24 hours since it is impractical to pull that information in Linux with all the different display managers but not the timezone, which is obtainable consistently the same way through each platform.
