Hi,

On kodi settings it is possible to define the default action for files (like Play, Add to Playlist, Show PopUp, etc..). Is there a way to do the same for folders?

Explaining:

I have a folder that has some sub-folders with cartoons that my 1.5y/o doughter likes to watch. Each sub-folder has some videos files, if she selects the folder I wished all its contents get played (today, to do that I have to open the context menu on that folder and select "Play this") - I'd like to make the "Play this" the default action for folders.

Is it possible?

If your remote has a play button, you can press play while a folder is selected and it will have that effect. Otherwise, I don't know of an easy or reliable way to play when a directory is selected, rather than entering it. Not without making navigation almost impossible.
