Hello,
I am running KODI from webmin custom commands module.
I am able to run kodi with this command: DISPLAY=:0.0 /usr/bin/kodi , but there is a problem with it, because when i want to shutdown/reboot from KODI, there isnt any option like that, only quit from kodi. I dont know what difference is between running it from webmin just like that: DISPLAY=:0.0 /usr/bin/kodi as user, or running it from xubuntu as user.I checked box run it with user environment.
Thanks for any help
sry for my engrish Smile
you could use upstart with respawn. that way when you exit it should restart

urgh excuse me, i misread, need more coffee
Better search the forum for a policy kit file ... your user running kodi most likely lacks the permission to do a reboot / shutdown.
