I would like to uninstall my kodi completely and start over but I would like to export my library with only date added titles and only refresh thumbnails etc. I already have ember with nfo and thumbnails set for each movies. Is it possible to do that?

I don't think you can do a selective export in the GUI, it might be possible with a manual edit of the XML backup but would be tedious and error prone, importing it with your edits.
