Full Version: Play UDP stream video on RPi model B

I have raspberry Pi model B and want to play UDP streamed video on Rpi which is streamed from another windows based PC via VLC media player. how can i play it on Rpi board?

AFAIK you can create a .strm file containing the URL to the UDP stream and play that
i am new for KODI. can you tell me how can i create .strm file and how to play it?

Copy the address of the stream and paste it into a text file. Save the text file as 'whateveryoulike.strm' and then open the file in Kodi.
could/should also work as m3u playlist
