Hi All,
I have been trying to find information about this issue but since i have been unable to find anything i will start the discussion then
I'm running Isengard RC on a Win7 machine and on a Sony AndroidTV television, i'm using the AeonNox skin. All my media is shared over the network using 2 different locations a NAS and another PC. Everything works great, playback is fluid and overall the system is very stable on both platforms.
Now the strange part: If i switch off the PC containing one of the shares of my library, the Android Kodi version blocks himself every 30s or so. I mean, it stops responding to the menus or any key stroke. After those 30s it comes back "alive" and executes very fast a part of the keystrockes performed while it was hanged. After 2 or 3s, the systems returns again to the hang state. The only way of quitting from this state is switching on again the PC with the shared folder.
Looks like the application is constantly trying to reach the shared libraries of the network so when its trying to reach an offline folder it basically blocks everything until a "timeout" occurs.
Is there any parameter somewhere to avoid this "constant shared folders checking" ?
edit: Btw, i had the same issue on 14.2 So its not something related to the new version
Thanks
