Completely fascist bullshit.

If I buy a CD, I own it. Whatever I do with any or all of the songs on that CD is up to me, not the record company. They made their money already. As long as I'm not reselling it, they don't have a goddamned thing to say about it.

This is the type of creeping fascism that the media companies tried to sneak into the US as part of the SOPA/PIPA bills. Those died in Congress, but they are being resurrected as part of that mammoth "top secret" Trans-Pacific Partnership that Obama is trying to push through the Senate, mostly on the advice of former Senator (and health care reform destroyer) Chris Dodd, who is now the head shill for the fascist MPAA.

There are dozens of reasons why TPP and similar bills should be defeated, but this is certainly in the top 5.
Sounds even worse than paying money in advance, like we have in The Netherlands
