I have a Goodbang Doo Master Android box and I have 30 mbps internet. I have the internet hard wired into my android box. I don't have buffering issues with any other apps. But I do get allot of buffering issues with this SN Now kodi app. Any suggestions on settings to minimize the buffering.

Hello, thanks so much for this addon.I can now watch the jays games without any issues and in HD its great! I was just wondering if there was any possibility or plans to add the TSN Go streams for this addon or maybe a new addon for those streams? They have all their streams at http://www.tsn.ca/tv with a very similar authentication scheme.

Sportsnet now is to HD as mutton is to lamb. The bitrate is so low, I wouldn't really consider it HD. I've already complained, but I doubt they'll add higher bitrate streams (or 4K). For the price they're charging, they should provide better.

Anyway, if you search around on this thread, TSN has come up a few times -- I originally set out to write it, but their HLS stream uses a bit of a strange encryption mechanism. Sadly, I can't do anything about that.

Yeah you are correct about the HD, I am just comparing it to what i was watching before on streams that I had to scrounge for in Castaway or Sportsdevil, in comparison to those streams the sportsnet streams are like night and day. I have also noticed that the sound quality on the stream is definitely lacking, seems to be over amplified at some points. Would love to see at least 5.1 but I doubt that will happen.

Too bad to hear about the TSN encryption issue.Either way thanks for the response and thanks so much for the add-on!

+1 for TSN! I realize it's easier said than done, and if I knew the first thing about coding/programming/what have you I would be more than happy to help out, but unfortunately I am rather useless, so must rely on kind folk like yourself to hopefully figure it out!

On that note, how about creating some sort of Rogers "AnyPlace TV" app for Kodi? Or is that pretty well impossible?

Yeah, I think it does that if you're brand new. I PM'd you, see if you can respond.

Anyone been having buffering issues with the addon. Yesterday it was unusable for me, the streaming was working fine on my tablet but throuigh the addon on kodi it would buffer and buffer and would never play for more than 15 seconds or so. This leads me to believe it is something with the addon or my kodi setup.

I tried setting the following in the advancedsettings.xml but it didnt seem to help.

<advancedsettings>
<network>
<cachemembuffersize> 157286400 </cachemembuffersize>
</network>
</advancedsettings>

So today, no buffering at all. hmmm

First I want to say thank you for developing this add-on. When it works it's great!

I have been having an issue where the channels are all listed but they don't update throughout the day. I've looked in the side menu and see a grayed out Update Library.

When I want to update the list of channels to see what is currently on I have to use another add-on to clear my cache and then go back into the Sportsnet Now add-on.

I am using a Raspberry PI 3 running Kodi on OSMC.

Anyone else having issue with the plugin. I used the plugin fine up until yesterday but today try to play steam and it just shows waiting then nothing. I am seeing the following in the log file. Maybe sportsnet changed something on the authentication scheme?
