Hi guys,

I'm running Kodi 15.1 on the Amazon Fire TV and wanted Kodi to access the internet via a proxy. I entered the credentials from my VPN provider but how do I know that it has connected successfully?

By deliberately entering incorrect details in Kodi and rebooting, it appears that Kodi is still accessing the internet leading me to conclude that the proxy server details I have entered are being ignored.

What is the reason for this and how can I ensure that I am actually connected to the internet via a proxy server?

Yeah me too. I also checked latest nightly. But same effect before 15.1 everything worked fine

I use 15.2 and have the same Problem.
System Fire TV Stick:

Tried with wrong Address and i can still Access the Internet.

Is there any workaround?
Will it be fixed?

Is it better with an older Version?
