I have this device Eweat EW802, it comes with installed kodi 13.1 It works fine, but if I try anything higher, no video works, just jumping screenshots and loud hissing noise. What am I doing wrong?

Can you get us a debug log (wiki) of when you play a video using Kodi v15.1?

Try disabling amcodec under Kodi -> Settings -> Videos -> Acceleration

As I understand, video is working fine, the sound is the issue here.

Go into Settings -> System -> Audio output, and disable any of the passthrough options. See if that makes any change.
