Hi, guys - I've been away a lot recently, and grabbed the 15.1 update as part of a broader range of system updates this evening. Unfortunately, Kodi now won't start on my Linux Trusty system (I'm yet to try updating Windows, and my OE boxes are still on 15.0 as part of 5.95.3).
Symptoms... it starts, it updates the database for new programmes, and it seems to just freeze and then crash out while updating the PVR. I can obviously play around with switching that bit off for debugging purposes, but I thought I'd pose the question here in case there's something obvious in the debug log ... as there isn't to me! It could be that the crash logs are more useful, as they suggest it might be a thread issue by my idiot reading of them, so I've included those as well.
Two successive tries at starting - debug log, crash log, then try again:

http://xbmclogs.com/pf2aubnvd
Then try again, but doing nothing this time - not even a mouse movement:
http://xbmclogs.com/pnc951lqu
http://xbmclogs.com/pq1gbvjdt
It's an i7 14.04 system using Intel HD graphics. Nothing really odd otherwise. PVR backend wasn't changed at all, I can't say if the addon was updated as part of the 15.1 update, though.
Thoughts welcome, happy to poke around to help isolate it whether it's my system or something weird in Kodi itself.
Thanks, as always.
EDIT
I disabled the PVR addon (i.e. disabled Live TV) and it seems to be stable, so that's suspicious... I'll try re-enabling it, then trashing the PVR DB, then uninstalling/reinstalling the addon.
EDIT
While typing that last one, I'd re-enabled PVR, and Kodi crashed again.
Debug: http://xbmclogs.com/pygvaaapd
Crash: http://xbmclogs.com/pj7tusm1n
I'll leave this open for now, and try tweaking the PVR addon this evening or over the weekend, see if that helps.
EDIT
Clearing PVR details made no difference. Re-enabling PVR causes a crash within seconds.
Addon is 2.1.17; apt-cache policy confirms:
I'll look at trace debugging in the addon as well.
EDIT
Trace debugging doesn't seem to generate any more information, so I'll need to look into that.
That said, multiple restarts and radio button toggles, and it's started this time, so let's see if it stays upright ... I've had a minute or two so far, which is a lifetime compared to where I was...!

Title of first post changed.
