I have been struggling for a while now with my VRC-1100 remote, which is quite popular, and generally working quite well with Kodi, except for the Volume keys: when you press volume up or down, an hold the keys, only one click is performed, i.e. you have to click multiple times to decrease the volume noticeable.
This seems to be a problem with all Linix flavors, I have tried with KodiBuntu, but also on the RasPi.
however, all Windows versions I tried work fine, i.e. the Windows driver for this remote is supporting keeping the volume keys pressed.
Since I am not so deep into the Linux OS: what driver is used for the VRC-1100, who developped it, and is it possible to contact that person in order to find out if it is possible to implement that, so that Linux and Windows make use of all features the same way?
