Hi,
has anyone ever tried installing Kodi on a Windows operating system running on a hypervisor?
Reason for asking: I am currently running Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials as my home server, providing storage, DNS, DHCP, VPN, AD, etc... As it is running 24/7, I was wondering if it is possible to hook it up to my TV and install Kodi on a virtual machine. Hardware graphics acceleration depends on some factors which shouldn't be a problem. But how about redirecting video out to the HDMI-Port of the hyper-v host?
