Kodi Community Forum

Hi all,

New to the forum here... Hoping to get some assistance!

I am running Kodi 14.2 on an Android mbox m8s device. When I go to exit Kodi, it's taking anywhere from 15-30 seconds. I've searched and searched, but could not find a solution which worked. I tried disabling the version check, which did not appear to resolve the issue. I've tried clearing my cache and purging my packages. Can't seem to figure it out!

I've tried researching those ERROR cods, but still could not figure it out.

One, we won't be able to help you with outdated versions like v14. Two, it's slow to exit because of the add-ons you have installed. You have a lot of crappy ones installed that are not well written. Because they also violate our forum rules (wiki), I won't go into further detail.

Ok, how about now... I've updated to Kodi 15.1. Started fresh, with just a few addons. Still taking approximately 13 seconds to close out of Kodi. Is this normal?

With the add-ons you still have, yes.
