Only starting today, whenever I try to watch a DVD from a DVD folder via SMB on my Fire TV, it takes at least ten minutes (and up to 20) for the video to start playing!
I've had a lot of problem with Kodi v15.1 and 15.2, so I thought going back to v14.2 would help. It did not!
I've never seen this before, so I'm quite puzzled as to what's going on.
I don't think this problem is related to slow wireless speeds, because once the video finally loads, it plays without pauses or buffering, but I can't be sure.
Lots of people recommend the OOKLA Speed Test app for Fire TV, but although it installs fine, it never actually does anything when I press the "Start" button. Does anyone have any suggestions for a different speed test that actually works on the Fire TV?
