I have a LG 4k television. I am plugin my Macbook Pro 2015 via hdmi to it and I can use the tv has a second screen in uhd (4k) resolution (3840x2160 30Hz). I was hopping to be able to use Kodi with that résolution to wach 4k video and hight resolution photos but when I switch Kodi to use my tv has the screen it switch back the resolution to 1080p! And in the resolution list (display item) the max is 1080p! Why?
If I select my retina display screen I can see the max physical resolution in the list and use it.
Is there a solution for that?
