hi can some one help just got a m8 box but its running on 14.2 how can I update it? thanks
if the m8 comes with the google PlayStore you can upgrade from there. If not you have to manually download the APK form
here and sideload it. Please ask Google on how to sideload - there are tons of tutorials out there (either via adb, download via browser on the box itself or copy to USB stick and install via a filemanager app)
you can update from google playstore, how ever you may end up loosing video on the newer version
If the Play Store is available on your box check if Kodi was installed from there. If not then you may need to uninstall the existing version first then install the Play Store version.
