I upgraded to a RK3368 device and have been experiencing some issues with streams and I didn't see anything useful in the logs to post. Some streams like 1080 live steams will cause Kodi (video and UI) to slow down tremendously to the point where even the stream name marquee is lagging. Another issue with streams is certain files(maybe Dolby digital files) will play for about 10-20 seconds and then the video will stop and sound will continue. Lastly if the internet connect is dropped for what ever reason Kodi will lock up and require a restart.

Device: CX-R8 RK3368 latest firmware
OS: Android 5.1.1
Kodi 15.2-RC3

Hello. I have a rk3188 tv box. With kodi isengard i had the same issues that you describe. No solution with advanced config cache modification.
Then, i downloaded kodi helix, at first verithyng went fine, but after some days, the whole thing became slow, cache issues, etc,etc. Don't know what to do.
