Hello i have a problem
my m8s box wont play 7.1 audio through HDMI or optical cable. only 5.1.
i tried pass-trough and 7.1 speaker settings and dts decoder and ac3 ect
can you helt me
im running kodi 15.2 because armlogic screen problem

The AMLogic SoC in this device does not support 7.1 HD Audio passthrough only 5.1
This applies to all AMLogic devices.
Get an Intel equipped Chromebox if you want 7.1 HD Audio Passthrough or a RPi2 if you want HD Audio to be decoded by Kodi and output as Multichannel PCM Audio to an AVR.

so should i buy the invidia shield instead
