You have to uninstall / re-install the addon.
(2017-11-03, 22:22)eracknaphobia Wrote: [ -> ]Yep, I see exactly what you are talking about. I've gone ahead and updated the zip file. It might take a few minutes to propagate, but if anyone is having the issue sask3m mentioned above please uninstall / re-install version 2017.11.3
I uninstalled, but when I go to reinstall from your repo it shows it is version 2017.11.2. Do I have to redownload your .zip repo again?
UPDATE: Never mind, I went back in after updating my iPad to Kodi 17.5 and the NHL addon is updated to 11.3. I'll check the live games today and see if it fixed my iPad issue.
Any one know how long it usually takes for the Kodi repo to be updated with a new version (11.03).
Hey Erack
The add on was Working fine for me. Just went into use it, noticed that it has been updated to the latest version. As soon as I click to go in it kicks e out with a NHL.tv error with the red X.
Never had his before
Thanks as always

Your system likely d/l the 11.03 that was giving trouble Erack fixed it but its still called 11.03 so you will need to uninstall the addon then reinstall and it will d/l the correct 11.03 update.
Reda the posts above and you will see what is happening.
Hey I appreciate the advice.
Just uninstalled and installed again and have the exact same error.
I just found some possible fixes for those with streaming issues for those on Kodi 17.x
I had Kodi struggling when the stream would go to "Commercial break in progress" and couldnt recover when the game would start again.
Delete advancedsettings.xml if you created it.
If that doesnt work try enabling
Inputstream.adaptive
Edit: Only works for the live streams. On Demand games it still struggles once it goes to commercials, at least not as much as it did before.
This addon doesn't use inputstream adaptive yet, so whatever playback issue you are experiencing are caused by something else.
I have followed uninstall / reinstall advice in 5his thread, but can't get anything to work. Just errors.

Did I pistol the log correctly?

Level 3 seem to be the CDN by default for commercial break. After commercial break it switch back to Akamei (for most users). It could explain your problems.
Anyway if someone is interrested, Akamei CDN located at Vancouver seem to work better for Rogers users. If you have a VPN, try it!

That's not a kodi log. Please follow the instructions listed here:

Alternatively, you can set the cdn in the addon settings without the need for a vpn. Addon Settings > Login > CDN. By default this is set to No preference.

I know and it's a good feature. But i'm talking about VPN only because depending of the VPN location, the CDN server is in a different location and it seem to improve the quality of the stream. If their is a Montréal-Toronto game and everybody are on the same server it can slow down things but if the Akamei server is located at Vancouver where local time is 4PM I expect less buffering problem. It worked one time for me. Will see tonight...
FYI, 11.3 seems to have fixed the JSON errors I was getting, and now everything is working great again, thanks!
New error for the RDS (French) stream for tonight's game though. Quick check in the log viewer, it's a python error, "Error Contents: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xe7' in position 144: ordinal not in range(128)".
Something to do with the letter ç I suppose?
