Kodi Community Forum

hi,
I am new to the forum and ive been using kodi for awhile. after downloading lots of skins there never seems to be one I like.
so I am undertaking changing kodi to suit me.

first hurdle
the user interface I would like to change first eg: "movies" & "tv shows" and also the menu bar position ,can anyone point me to the correct xml file or thread that covers this topic please. I don't like using other people`s wizards or skins because I want a simple clean interface.

Without knowing which skin you're modding I can only suggest you look at the Home.xml and take it from there.
