Hi,

my setup is as follows:
- Zotac Zbox CI521 nano Zotac website
- kodibuntu installed (Isengard)
- Remote control Logitech Harmony 350 Logitech website

No I tried to use the remote with kodi using the lirc deamon (http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Setup_an_MC...l_in_Linux) - but I couldn't get it working. None of the remote's keys works.
I'm not even sure if the zbox receives the signals.

Is there a detailed (with images) step-by-step guide?
How could I test if the zbox receives the keystrokes?

use the program irw from the command line. Run it and then press buttons on your remote to see if the register. If you see them, then lirc should be configured properly

a Debug_log (wiki) will be helpful after that

Another question is of course you have a USB Ir receiver right? I dont see from zotac site there if there is a receiver in the machine

Ok, I will try the irw program.
The zbox has an integrated IR receiver (can be seen in the manual under Downloads)
