I have dual monitor, one being a tv, but I am not able to open Kodi on the tv screen. It always opens on my laptop even though I moved the shortcut to the tv screen. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Go to the graphics settings on your laptop and set it output via hdmi to second screen.

In Kodi's Settings - System - Video Output you can select the screen on which Kodi should appear (and more).
