Please bear with me...I am 73 yrs old and a novice with computers and this new stuff. I have a "OTT TV BOX 4Xcpu" There were no instructions so went to Utube and tried four times to set box up. I reset the unit after each try. When I first loaded it there were five icons on the home page...the first one being KODI...some how that is gone and I have to go into apps to load it...can I get it back on homepage

Is there a really good place to find instructions to set this up on my TV ??

Do I even need the box ? Can KODI be down loaded to my PC and then sent to my TV ?

I hope someone can help me...many thanks and appreciation will be expressed..

At risk of getting myself blackballed have you considered installing plex media server on your pc and installing plex client on your android box? Kodi is of course far far superior to plex in many regards but i would say its easier for new users.

again, one of the many amlogic S805 boxes... interesting to see how nearly every time users reset these things, the pre-installed apps including Kodi vanish and they're having a hard time getting those installed again and/or have problems figuring out the right display settings... please have a good read here http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=229161 and come back with questions every time you seem to be stuck or have additional questions about setting this thing up
