Kodi Community Forum

I am totally new to this. I was given a set top box as a gift. It has Android 4.4 installed. When I power it up. I see Kodi as one of the apps installed. I click on Kodi, it gives me a screen with pictures, video, music ,,,, as selections. But where do I go from here. For example if I want to watch movies legally.
