Full Version: How to display list of MKV chapter names

Hi there,

I have started moving from my old WD media player to OpenELEC on Raspberry Pi 2 and I am really impressed with the quality, features, and number of add-ons available for the platform!

Regarding MKV files, I can move from one chapter to the next, and can see the chapter name on the upper left corner of the screen.

One thing that I could not find is how to display a list of all chapter names in a MKV file - for example, I've converted a Norah Jones DVD into MKV using HandBrake, and I would like to see the song names to facilitate going directly to the ones I'd like to listen to (such as the VLC screen capture bellow).

I am not sure if OpenELEC can currently show a list of chapter names in a MKV file, but would really appreciate your help in case it can.

Thanks,
Zéca
Moved to OS independent forum as this isn't a Pi specific issue.

I don't really use named chapters, but perhaps read this thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=163190
Thanks for moving it to the proper forum and for the URL.

I could not find a solution for this yet, so any additional help would be really appreciated.
