I currently have a few TV series and ideally I'd like them to just play in random order without any particular intervention. I use PseudoTV Live for this purpose, but don't really need a bunch of channels or the guide necessarily (I end up just keeping it on one channel).

Maybe use a smart playlist, put all the TV-shows in there and start the playlist in random at startup by using autoexec.py
