Looks like a nice kodi box!
1 ram slot or 2? Couldn't tell from the link.. "Up to 8gb" makes me think 1. Or is this no longer an issue with this SoC?

Not being familiar with Braswell SoC, could this thing run OpenELEC, but be able to play 4K better than Celeron 2955U/2957U Chromebox?
If I'm not mistaken......this would be the best of what the Braswell NUC & Beebox offers combined.

N3700 (NUC) + 2 SO-DIMM (Beebox) = MSI Cubi N FTW
Yes agreed.
Would run OpenELEC easily and up to 4K HEVC at 2160p24/p30 using the new EGL distros of Kodi Smile

$120 on NewEgg, not bad. But, w/o memory and HDD.
damn no ir port...

hope that resume from stand by works correctly with avr
Why have they put all the USB sockets on the front? It's nice to cable storage devices from the rear sockets and just have a USB IR receiver (or nothing) on the front ones...
2 front 2 rear

Front are useful for usb ir or keyboard wireless module

My mistake - the picture at the top of the first post looked like 4 front mounted - but I can see now it is 2 front mounted with USB logos underneath.

As you were...

Link? I'm not seeing it on Newegg yet
I assume it's the same box, just in white?

that's the Broadwell version (which is over a year old), not Braswell.
