Hi,
My name is Emile and this is my first post.
I looked through the forrum to find a similar problem reported but sofar not found.
Since upgrading to Kodi 15 on my MXIII i got complaints from my (gaming) son that the internet download is dropping intermittent for periods of 1 sec. It is visable in the ethernet task manager as well during speedtests ran when Kodi running.
After very extensive troubleshooting i noted that after starting Kodi the intermittent internet droppings start.
(Just the home page selected. Not add-ons or anything running)
I flashed several other firmwares on the MXIII without result.
Used different routers / switches
I now switched back to Kodi 14.2 which has no problems.
Anybody experience the same or similar problems?
General info:
All wired ethernet connections.
MXIII. MBOX 4.4.2. 112k2
I also tried the last version of OSMC on a raspberry Pi 1 (512) and it gives the exact same intermittent internet drops on the network. (Kodi version oct 2015)
