If any future smart televisions by Samsung will runs Android or Tizen then there is at least a chance that those could run Kodi.

Or by a Sony or Phillips TV which already are shipped with android.

Still wouldn't mean a new release. It would mean that you could use an existing one :-p

I guess, there will be no special release for samsung TVs, as there is no special release for Sony TVs, too. It´s just the "Kodi for Android" apk which is sideloaded on Sony TVs.
But you said that already
But you said that already

Hello!
Now when Samsung TV is based on Tizen, it should be possible to make an Kodi app for it, wouldn’t it?

I guess nearly everything is possible if you have a maintainer/dev for it. If you don't, then I guess it's still possible, but as noone will be able to, it won't be done.
As Sony and Phillips decided to use Android as an OS and you are able to use the GooglePlayStore, Kodi can easily be installed on them. I just did it on my Sony KDL55W807C and AFAICT it works fine.

Too bad, I really like Kodi, and it would be nice to have it directly in the TV. And now when Samsung TV is based on Tizen it should be possible for the good programmers at Kodi to implement it. =)
It’s a quite big market of users. Just an example:

I would easily buy an app to get it in the TV (instead having an extra unit, like my currently Raspberry).

Keep an eye out for "MrMC". It's a Kodi fork that is planning on Tizen support.
